Radio
Jingles.
Original radio jingles and jingle packages for stations that need a recognisable musical identity. A package can begin with one Main Theme and expand into versions for different on-air functions.
For stations that want music to work as a recognisable brand system.
A jingle package is not one universal product list. Market terminology differs between stations and countries. Stejong uses its own production definitions and confirms the exact compositions and versions required for each project.
A package built around station identity.
- 01
Main Theme + ID family
A core composition can be developed into Ramp, Basic, Shot, Rapid and Hyper versions unless the brief calls for a different family.
- 02
Top of the Hour + Donut
A standalone flagship hour opener can be paired with a DJ-friendly talkover counterpart that clearly belongs to the same production.
- 03
Sonic / station logo
A recognisable logo melody can form a red thread through the package. For a new logo, Stejong normally explores three strong variants within the agreed style.
- 04
Beds, drones & utility
Talkover, utility and atmospheric elements can be added when the brief requires them; they are not automatically included.
- 05
News / weather / traffic
Utility imaging is defined separately for direction, logo use, opener/closer needs, talkover requirements and exact versions.
- 06
Resings / adaptations
Existing underlying work can sometimes be adapted for another station or market, but rights, territory and exclusivity are checked before production.
Experience before Stejong.
Before founding Stejong, Stefan produced radio imaging during his time at Pure Jingles for stations including NRJ, RTL2, Chรฉrie FM, Capital, KISS, NPO 3FM, FunX, SLAM!, Radio Veronica, NRK mP3 and 103.5 KTU New York. This describes previous professional experience and is not a list of Stejong clients.
Useful before the brief.
01What is a radio jingle?
A radio jingle is a musical or sonic station element that supports brand recognition. Within one package, longer and shorter versions can perform different on-air functions.
02Do I need to know terms like Ramp, Basic or Hyper?
No. Start with the format, audience, current sound and goal. Stejong uses those definitions internally to structure the right version family.
03Is a Top of the Hour the same as a Donut?
No. The Top of the Hour is the standalone flagship hour opener; the Donut is its less-dense, DJ-friendly talkover counterpart.
04Can an existing jingle package be resung?
Sometimes. A resing depends on the underlying rights and the agreed market, territory and exclusivity. Those conditions are checked before production.
Start with the station.
The radio route is already selected, so the brief starts directly with format, audience, current sound and goal.
